| We're happy to offer prime Freshwater fishing here on the farm . Seven ponds with over 62 acres of open water offer prime bass, bluegill and crappie fishing. Weekend fishing will be open for no more than 5 boats daily on the farm, weekdays will be no more than 3 boats. Call ahead to book your trip. Fishing Report: January
Crappie are biting hard on
jigs, minnows. Bass and
bream are active down
deep, shiners and beetle
spins are catching bass.
Bream are biting wigglers,
minnows, crickets, you
name it. Pond levels are
low, 4wd trucks
recommended everywhere
but Ice pond. Bass should
be bedding soon!

| These are natural cypress ponds that offer fishing in deep holes, bonnet flats and submerged timber. Large bream on fly rods in the deep water are very productive through the summer, and minnows in the deep water often prove productive for crappie, bream or even bass in the summer. In the spring fish locate according to the weather and water temps. Our favorites are senko worms, culprit worms, smaller topwaters and spinner baits. Live shiners are especially productive, bring at least 2 dozen per person (you'll be glad you did). We encourage the harvest of bream, crappie and yearling bass; Bass over 4lbs we ask you keep 1 per person so we can keep the quality of fishing where it is. If you get that wallhanger, we at least want a picture of him. Check our facebook page for pictures posted by our visitors. |

into the Pasture to the Check-in Box.
