| About our Farm |
Cypress Cattle & Produce is a fourth-generation family farm in Holmes and
Walton Counties here in the panhandle of Florida. Mr. W.J. Sapp (Great
Uncle)founded our farm in the late 1920's, raising sugar cane for his cane syrup
mill, growing red potatoes and dairying. Mr W.L. Comander(Grandfather) and
Kenneth Langford(Father) operated a dairy and row crop farm for over 60
years, closing the dairy in 1993 and evolving into a cow-calf operation.
Luke(Son) came home from college in 2003 and since that time we have ran our
cow-calf operation, have offered fed cattle for beef, developed a produce market
for our vegetables, operated a sawmill for our timber resources and offered
agri-tourism opportunities such as u-pick, farm fishing, camping, pumpkin
patches and this coming year, a corn maze. We welcome you to our farm & our
market. We'll continue to grow our family's farm focusing on how we can serve
our local folks. We are deeply grateful towards everyone helping us preserve our
family's farm.
